Your class has been selected to create a podcast about the Salem Witch Trials. Work in groups of three: one will be the animator, one will be the Salem specialist and one will be someone interested in the story.
You must prepare and record a conversation based on your assigned role. Be careful, your recording must provide information to your listener. Don't forget to:
- greet people and to interact with one another,
- give the basic information about the Salem Witch Trials,
- develop an example (choose to focus on a person, on the victims, on McCarthyism, on the city, etc.),
- make the listeners curious about the story.

You work at the visitor centre in Salem. Write an email to a French class to inform them about why it is a good idea to visit the city. Use the Salem website for help.
Your email should include:
- Greetings
- Information about the city history
- Recommendations on activities people can do
- What they can expect to find (people, shops, etc.)
