A group of tourists asks for your help!
Choose one of the situations below.
  • You are at the Rockefeller Center and they want to go to a concert at Carnegie Hall.
  • You are at the American Museum of Natural History and they have to catch a train at Grand Central Terminal.
  • You are at the Empire State Building and they decide to do some shopping at Macy's.
  • You are atthe Time Square subway exit and they decide to walk on the famous High Line.
  • You are at the Chrysler building and they want to visit St Patrick's Cathedral.
  • You are at the Vessel and they decide to catch a taxi at Colombus Circle.
  • You are at the Brooklyn Bridge and they want to visit the 9/11 Memorial.
Now go through the following steps. Do some research online.
1.Find a photo of your starting point and a photo of your destination and paste them on the Manhattan map.
2.Highlight the chosen route on the map.
3.Write down in English all the directions the tourists will need to walk to their destination. Get some help with the tips and key expressions provided.
